I just got a kitten. The thing is my parents will not allow her to roam around the house so I have to keep her in my room all the time. Do you think that is unhealthy for her to be confined to such a small space? My room is about 15 ft x 15 ft. She always meows when I’m out of the room too because she is bored and lonely.
Yes I give her fresh water daily, fill up her food bowl, clean her litter box, etc etc. I find time to play with her and I sleep with her sometimes. I’m thinking of getting her a leash as well (like a body harness since she’s small and I wouldn’t want to pull on her neck) and take her to the park and what not.
Whoever said that this was animal cruelty are complete idiots. I’m not abusing her nor neglecting her in any way. I just realized, there are many pets who live in apartment spaces that are just as small as my room. My room also has a window and has a big bed, so it’s not like I confined her to some small damp prison. Get over yourself.
