My “family” cat is 12 years old, she looks young, acts young, seems genuinely very healthy, etc.
However my cat, is about 8 years old. She looks old and acts old. She gets regular veterinary care, gets a high quality diet, etc. However she seems older than the “family” cat yet is about 4 years younger!
Are some cats just destined to age faster and die younger?
If she’s a good 8 or possibly 9 and acts/looks old now, what should I expect as far as how long she will live?

Are they different breeds? Just because she isacting old dont mean she will die soon
