I adopted a 7 week old kitten a few days ago and he seems perfectly fine, he’s eating, playing, going to the litter, sleeping, purring, etc,
except for this one strange thing, it only happens when he falls asleep on his back, he’ll breathe loudly like little snorts and will stop when I wake him up, then he goes back to normal
I’m wondering if this is something kittens do? I am a little worried and plan on taking him to the vet since he has not gotten his first shots yet, but since it only happens occasionally when he goes into a deep sleep on his back, maybe hes snoring?
Any cat experts?

its normal. its basically just a cat’s way of snoring.
