I’m about to graduate college and I’m looking to adopt a kitten. I’ve grown up with Persian cats my whole life and I love their personalities. However, I’m only looking for a pet-quality (i.e. not CFA-certified / not show quality) kitten, and I’m on a budget. Are there any pet-quality Persian cat breeders (preferably in Los Angeles or San Diego areas)? Or what are some CFA-certified Persian cat breeders with decent prices?

Even though you only want a pet, you should find a very good breeder. Even when one breeds a Champion to a Champion, there is always at least one pet quality kitten in the litter. Dealing with a breeder who is very good, ethical and does it right will help ensure your kitten is healthy.
People who produce ONLY pet quality are not good breeders. Persians are prone to several health issues. So try hard to find a good breeder, even though you only want a pet quality kitten.
