So I have two cats, one is morbidly obese, and the other one is where he should be weight wise. I tried a weight management cat food and instead of the cat that’s overweight losing weight, the cat that’s where he should be has started to lose weight. I started to give him some wet food as well to keep him from losing weight but the overweight cat still isn’t losing any weight. Is there anything I can do?

Fist of all get your Vet involved. But till then: there has been a study that was published recently that cats should be eating Canned food only. Now I tell my clients that if dry food suits your lifestyle, and your cat is not overweight, you are OK but if not go to a weight reduction diet, limit their intake and give canned cat food only. Its that simple.
Cats should not eat carbs in large amounts But there are needed to make dry food.
So think Atkins…Catkins if you like.
good luck Peter
